The Dolmen Resort & Spa is listed in many travel brochures as being in Bugibba and Qawra in others. This is because the hotel is geographically between the two areas on St. Paul's Bay, 1 Km from the town centre.

The hotel is 18Km from Malta International Airport, about 25 minutes by taxi.

The Bugibba Temple

Within the Dolmen Resort & Spa Hotel's grounds there is an authentic Neolithic Temple with restored Dolmen that stands undisturbed in the landscaped gardens - The Bugibba Temple - This belongs to the same category of pre historic monuments as Tarxien and Hagar Qim in Malta and Ggantija in Gozo. These imposing sanctuaries, erected for the worship of a deity, which has so far defied a generally acceptable definition, constitute the outstanding achievement of the Maltese Copper Age, its Megalithic architecture.
